And verily, did Demosthenes Three hastily scribble thusly...
|2) My "Chunk Launcher" Ninja is NOT a shapeshifter - I KNOW shifters
|can't have cyberware, that would be silly. My character has
|regeneration by using the Immortaily Flower from the California Free
|State book, OK? Lot less powerful, lot harder to get, more expensive,
|and more dangerous.

It is still, however regeneration.
Was the cyberware added AFTER you had the flower?
If so, it MAY stay, i think, but any cyber added after the power of
regeneration is gained in ANY being with that power, it will be expelled.

It goes along with the sick thing in step 1, OK?
|Besides, shifters are truly munchkinous. :) Yes, I realize that using
|this weapon very odten would quickly incapacitate me, damage
|resistance or no. Did I ever say that this thing fired bursts? Hell
|no. It's a SINGLE SHOT weapon, sort of an astral hold-out pistol, OK?

Still wouldn't work.

|3) Flesh removed from the body is dead - Where'd that idea come from?

I didn't say it... I said it was DYING.
Besides that, as I and others stated, it is NOT astrally active, and
therefore CANNOT cause damage. Thems the rules, and someone's already said
you're a rules lawyer.... I suggest you follow your own example.

|Certainly not from Biology. Skin grafts, organ transplants, etc. (All
|canon Shadowrun concepts) are certainly alive, and any first year med
|student can tell you that tissue removed from the body can remain
|viable and alive for quite some time after being torn from a body.

Irrelevant. Alive or dead, unless your meaty chunks are capable of
assensing, they are useless.

|6)Physical objects don't damage astral objects - Again, this sounds
|like a house rule to me.

Why? It is a fact, and I'm sure if you asked, Gurth would quote chapter and
page number to verify that. Mundane cannot ever affect astral.
The only way a mundane can attack an elemental for example, is to wait for
it to physically manifest.

However, I recognize that Fasa has never been
|clear with this, which is why I posted the whole silly thing to the
|list in the first place, to get more ideas. We DO exchange ideas on
|this list right? Or do we just jump all over anyone who posts them and
|make veiled references to Munchkins, and wild guesses about player's
|ages (27 by the way, surprised? :))

Yes. :)
This is all besides the point. We don't jump up and down and squash
everyones ideas for anything, but within the current rules, it cannot work.
Period.

|7)"Range combat cannot do damage to an astral being [though there
|might be a few exceptions to this rule they don't matter here].
|Hmm, so Distance Strike, Banishing, and Combat Spells, (All ranged
|combat)

Not ranged combat. Ranged MAGIC. There is a BIG difference.
Your fleshy chunks would have as much damaging potential as an AK-47 firing
germinating peanuts. They're alive, but mundane. >> No effect.

|8) What's a THWAP?

A thwap? Oh, that's just the sound of a wet carp striking bare flesh, as
stolen from the classic fish dance of Monty Python fame.
Flames are totally different. Carps are reserved for bad jokes and slightly
inflamatory comments.
Carps are there for the fun of it.
Someone says a bad joke, they get a very smelly 1000 year old carp in the
mush....
:)

|Oh yeah, what's a "FAB Bat?"

You don't want to know....
You *REALLY* don't want to know.
That, along with G*******g through q*********s and wo****cks is one of the
most loathed and hated arguments on the list....
:)
(Read the FAQ to know what wo*****cks and G********g through q********s is.)
