Ok, recently someone, while talking about the newer stlye adventures FASA
has been pitting out, mentioned the "alternate" style of PC's FASA has been
promoting some recently (Lone Star, Gangers, etc).

This past weekend I played in two games with the same character, and
neither of them was a "traditional" style game. And I have to say, it was
an amazing amount of fun!

I'm playing a modified Troll Street Samurai Archetype (I was pressed for
time in char gen, so chose to simply modify the archetype from the contacts
book) and we played a Lone Star campign, with 2 2-man teams of Lone Star
Beat Cops. We just did some really silly stuff, with my character and his
partner having to respond to a "domestic voiolence" call. But in general,
it was a nice change of pace and a lot of fun.

The next night, someone else ran, but me and McKenna decided to stick with
the same chatacters from the Lone Star Game (WIth the GM's approval). This
time we were going to be corp sec guards working for a minor corp, wo we
decided (WIth the GM from the previous game, once again) that our
charcaters were undercover, invenstigating possible illegal activity by the
corp (It wasn;t a AAA Mega, so it didn;t have extra territorality, or
whatever).

Once again, we had a lot of fun, and it was a majorly different attitude
for us, because our corp bosses wanted our characters to "pose" as
shadowrunners and sabotage another corp's facilities! This was something
our characters really didn;t want to do, because the others were all simply
normal corp guards, NOT runners, and me and McKenna were playing Cops! We
had serious problems with this, but we couldn't go against the corps wishes
and blow our cover...

Like I said, it was alot of fun and a great change of pace... :]
