That's an excellent point, and likely very true.

That would disrupt the game badly, as you say. Dead on.

Well, the "power" level of mana is something that we can argue, but I don't
see it really going anywhere. Not living in the Sixth World ourselves you
know.

But I do take issue with the level of magical technology. It's my
perception, but I don't see it as being as advanced as is necessary for any
sort of teleportation to be possible. Healing spells almost certainly
don't require much Biotech knowledge on the part of the caster, they are
more likely simply pumping mana into the target. Just as with a combat
spell that levels city blocks. A sizable portion of the spells in SR
simply pump magical energy into different targets, and produce different
affects. That doesn't require a massive amount of knowledge. That's why I
claim that magical technology is rather stunted, in many ways.

I really hope this wasn't aimed at me Keith. I understand the game of
Shadowrun just fine, thank you very much. As do many, probably most of the
people on this list. We all just have different perceptions and viewpoints
about a common GAME.

I hope so, because I don't understand what brought this little outburt
from, where is it, Lafalot? I honestly don't see where I was oppressing
you folks, or flaming you, or insulting you or whatever. I'm at a total loss.

BTW, GridSec, if this does progress any further, it will be taken private.
Because there are some valid general SR points I've let it go to the
list...for now.
