Normally, you can't get rid of a geas without either initiating or going burn-
out. Would it be possible to replace one geas with another instead?

For example, and ex-blood mage. After years of slaughtering people to fuel
his magic, he has a revelation, and decides that blood magic is wrong, and he
needs to get out. Unfortunately, his powers are still tied to the Sacrifice
geas, he's a long way from a new initiation level, and there is no way he's
going to deny the magical part of himself. Could he take a enw geas to
replace the blood magic one... something equally restrictive, but not quite as
messy?
