Okay...

The rebuttal: IE5 comes as a time-limited beta, which craps out your
operating system if you try to remove it when the beta expires. And you
can't even re-install IE4 on top, as it thinks there is a newer version
present. So if the beta runs out on you before you get the next version, you
end up having to download it with Netscape, or reinstalling your system. :)

(Spoken after painful experience in trying to remove Office 2000 beta 1 and
2 from 6 computers...)
