Oh, I don't hate people that work for MS. On the contrary. I feel
sorry for them. I hear they pay shit and treat the same. Hell, look
at what they did to those thousands of temp employees, and that is
something we know about.
My negative feelings for Microsoft intensified when I went through
the MCSE certification process for my job. I have never seen a
program that has such a loathing and contempt for its participants as
that one. It is designed to make you fail. And then when people
outsmart it and figure it out, they change the rules. Seems to me you
would want to encourage people to learn about your products and lower
your support costs, but I guess that is just me.
I guess it does create a market for those $1000 support contracts and
$1.20 a minute support calls, though.
