has anyone else tried to write an email to microsoft lately??
i was trying to download a few things from their site *without* using
windows update <shudder>
but, the damn thing didn't work. so i am trying to email the buggers,
and i have to fill out this longish form and make up a password and
everything! just so i can tell them that there is a problem with
downloading updates *without* using windows update <shudder>
i personaly know two people who had to reformat their hard drive after
using windows update <shudder>, no friggin way i am. sorry for the list
rant. just going on a diatribe about the bureaucracy of corporations.

actually, to bring this slightly ON topic, how efficient would you say
corps of the 205x's are? is there so much red tape like there is now?
more? less?
i had some players who i had fun with one time. there were trying to do
things the sneaky way and trying to get info semi-legitimately by posing
as corpers and trying to *request* some info and other things inside a
corp. they eventually got tired of the bureaucratic morass and in
frustration took someone's 'assistant' (read: screener for boss types)
hostage. needless to say, not everyone made it out of there alive :)
