Never claimed to be. I didn't like my ISP's default mail client
(Eudora), so I looked for something different (Netscape didn't have
decent email, and IE was a gleam in Bill's eye at the time).
Pegasus worked for me then, and I kept up with the SOTA.
For the record, I use Free Agent for reading news.
