Well, let's see. You've got electric, methane, gasoline, and diesel to
really pick from. I'm not too sure about methane, but if you make it a
gasoline or diesel IC engine powering the bugger, it's going to be a big
ass engine (and fuel tank) strapped to your ass. So let's rule out
gasoline and diesel. That leaves us with methane and electric. Methane
would probably give you better power (ie, speed, acceleration, and load
ratings) but you still have to worry about the fuel tank. Electric has
the advantage of having a low signature, most likely will be low weight,
and the only thing limiting the power supply (ie, battery) is cost (ie,
increasing the "fuel" capacity for an electric vehicle does not subtract
from load or CF.).

If I were you, I'd make the power suits electric except when heavy duty
power is needed.
