According to Scott Wheelock, at 7:47 on 10 Feb 99, the word on
the street was...

That reminds me of an adventure someone ran when I was a guest player
once. I'll add a spoiler warning so others can use it as well if they
want.

The run involved our characters going into a facility where people were
frozen so they could "live longer" -- get frozen for so many months or
years while you're still alive, so you can see what the world is like
after the time you'd normally have died. Not cryogenics, but a kind of
hibernation.

What was actually going on was that the management was using the people
paying for this to breed insect spirits. Instead of going into the
freezer, they were turned into ant spirits. I presume part of the
background (I never asked the GM about this) was that perfect flesh forms
would go back to their normal lives from time to time, to let the
relatives know "everything's fine."

We were to find a certain man and kill him while he was still frozen.
Instead of a complete man, we only found his head in the freezer, so we
went to investigate, and ran into the facility's security and some ant
spirits (one of which killed my shaman very much dead :( ).
