After the Borg/Hive response idea I did a little bit of work on the
following. It's pretty incomplete and the numbers are just arbitrary at
this point. Any feedback and suggestions would be appreciated.

Anyone who enters a hive will start to accrue a security tally based on
their actions.

Action Tally Modifier
----------------------------------------------
Interferes with an Insect +1
Attacks an insect +1
(the insect attacked will defend itself (a worker until it is no longer
being attacked, a warrior until the attacker is dead))
Kills a Worker Insect +2
Kills a Warrior Insect +5
Comes within 100m of the Queen +10
Comes within 50m of the Queen +20
etc

Tally Action
--------------
0 Ignore the intruder
5 Warrior insects which encounter the intruder are to attack
10 All insects which encounter the intruder are to attack
15 Warrior insects within 50m are to converge and attack
30 All insects within 50m are to converge and attack
35 All Warriors are to converge and attack
40 All insects are to converge and attack
