Actually a weaponfocus adds nothing to any attribute in closecombat. The
only thing a Weaponfocus does is, that it counts:
a) as a magical weapon and thus is capable of damaging spirits and other
critters with the invulneribility to normal weapons power with the normal
damage code of the weapon.
b) its force rating to the used combat skill (aka Melee Weapons or any
specialisation of them) of the binder of the Weaponfocus.
c) in astral Combat, if the wielder of the weapon is astraly projecting, the
Weaponfocus 'travels' with the wielder and is visible (and, of course
feelable if hit by ;o)) to other astral present persons/critters. The
Wepaonfocus also is usable under the same rules as in the physical worlds,
you just have to notice that Charisma is the astral equivalent of the
physical atribut Strength. If you read the section in SR3rd Page 191
carefully you will notice that. I think that was your misunderstandement
problem.

A Mono Whip weapon focus would do 10S (if someone would certainly do the
veeery hard job of enchanting a Monowhip) but the force would be added to
the skill of the user of the binder of the whip, in this particular case the
Whip skill. Note that this 'enhancement' of the skill does not count for the
combatpool usagelimit of the character, although you mileage may vary.
Hm, having reread, maybe its not perfectly clear what I meant. Example.
Whips Skill of 5 Monowhipweaponfocus Force 3, Combat pool of 8. You attack
someone, choosing to use every Combatpool you are allowed to (per rules or
GM). You can roll 5 (WhipSkill) + 3 (Force rating of Weapon focus) + 5
(Combatpool) = 13 Dice to attack.

Actually there are currently no official rules for those spirits, wether
shamanistic nor hermetic. Only mentioning in 'official' SR material was in
the novel Lucifers deck if I remember correctly. If you want to make some
rules of your own try reading that novel.

Nope, sorry cant help there.

Grin, that would be question 4, but sorry not to help here either.
