You assume that an aspected mage is a "part time hack", but I do not
think that was the intent behind this class of magic-user.
If say instead the choice was between giving more points to a "Spell
Specialist" or a "Jack of All Magical Trades" does giving more points
to the Aspected Mage make more sense?
