What about, I think it's called pyrokenisis? Heat and cold type spells
could be explained as telekineticly postively and negatively accelerating
the particles in a target. Most, if not all, spells can have a psionic
explanation. One thing that I don't see much of in psychic "myths" is
enchanted items. Spirits would, IMO, most likely be treated as coercing
inteligent beings of psychic energy. I can't see why psychics can't pool
their energy in a ritual team. Enchanting items is the only thing I have
trouble rationizing for psychics.
