And this pertains how? This is a mundane, recording mundane
sensations created through paranormal means, and thus does not pertain to
the topic at hand.

I'm not familiar with this one, but again, you're talking about
something other than trying to record astral perception on simsense. Keep
on topic, here.
On the other hand, there are numerous references that state quite
openly that simsense does not record astral perception. Why is this so
hard to grasp?

Question: if you are mindlinked with a perceiving mage, are you
also considered to be seeing what he is seeing astrally? Even if your
brain isn't wired for that sort of thing (i.e. you are a mundane). I'd
tend to think not.
Further, does the "Living Persona" ability record the sum total of
your existence? Does it record all of your memories, thoughts, and
aspirations? Does it in effect make a copy of your entire persona? I
sincerely doubt it, because anyone else would then be able to slot that
persona and effectively be you in totality, which again, does not seem
feasible.
And if it doesn't record everythnig about you, but just records
your sensory information, we're back to the idea of the simsense rig not
picking up the information because it's happening in a different (i.e.
non-sensory) part of the person's mind.

No, but that's because I despise the entire (poorly thought
out) concept of Otaku and have a very clear idea of what both the magic
and technology in my campaign are capable of. But that's another matter
entirely... ;)
