Errr...wrong, Fin.

This insult is generally used (in Shadowrun fiction), by orks and
trolls.

At least, in the 26 or 27 novels that I've read - so I do think I know
what I'm talking about.

I don't have any other ideas, although I think Kama's interpretation
relating 'breeder' to the gang term sounds best so far.

*Doc' wouldn't mind being called a pretty boy. After all, there's no
insult in the truth. <sounds of stifled laughter>*
