A while back, there was a thread about Kibo and Kibology, and I asked
if anyone thought that Kibology would still be around in Shadowrun's
time.
Having read my copy of New Seattle (it just arrived today), it would
apear that at least Steve K. thinks it would.
Throughout the book, in the shadowtalk posted by "The Dead Deckers
Society", the word "Kibo" is substituted into expressions where the
word "God" would normally apear, such as "In Kibo We Trust" and
"Kibo-forsaken".
Not the first time Kibo's ever apeared in an RPG sourcebook, but the
first time he's ever been mentioned in a Shadowrun book, to the best
of my knowledge.
So the Dead Deckers Society is a bunch of kibologists. I don't know if
I'll sleep better or worse at night, knowing that fact.
