>1) Karma Pool. Is there a point where a PC gets too big a
>pool to handle? I.E. they're always succeeding at tasks
>that should be reasonably tough (TN 9-12). If so, how do
>you deal with it?

Easy. Kill the character.... Seriously though, it's never really become
an issue in our group. Most of my players have the common sense to retire
such characters (luckily).

>2) Karma Pool Again. Do you follow the rule that meta-
>humans gain karma pool at half the rate as humans? If so,
>do they start out with 2 karma pool, as in 2nd Ed.?

Yeah, I can see this as a game balance thing and nothing more. By making
metas more common (lowering priorities) there was no reason to be a human
(except for roleplaying reasons, but who bothers with those...?). As for
the 2 KP, nope. Just plain old KP of 1 like everyone else.

>3) More Pooling Around. Do you even use the pool? I
>know one group (probably more) that don't; instead they
>burn good karma to do the same things as the pool would.

Yes, of course. The runners need it to survive.

>4) Just Plain Karma. How much do you typically give
>out for runs that you make up (I recently bought Eye-
>Witness and Double Exposure. The karma awards are
>way out of line with what the GM section says you
>should get)?

Depends on the difficulty of the run, but I'd say in the range of 1-4 as
the basic karma award (separate to individual awards). Bear in mind that
the published adventures tend to be for more experienced groups of runners
and in most cases the runs themselves are VERY BAD NEWS. =)

>5) Karma Fer Sale. Do you use the Cash for Karma
>rule, and vice versa? If so, what do you use as the cost?
>The "upscale campaign" example the SRC uses is kinda
>crazy...1 point for 1000 nuyen...

Yes and no. I do use the Cash for Karma and Karma for Cash rules, though I
try to avoid them as much as possible (making up excuses for why 3,000¥
just appeared in your bank account was starting to get to me, y'know...).
Typically I use a ratio of around one point of GK (Good Karma, y'know...)
per 500¥, because that way it's on the same scale as the SOTA rules - of
which I don't use all of, but that's another question in itself...

>6) Mmm....foooood..... What should I have for dinner
>tonight? I was thinking of a Stroganoff type meal, with
>broccoli, but I'm quite a bad cook.

Don't eat. Go out drinking. If you're as bad a cook as some of the people
I know, the hangover will feel one hell of a lot better than the stomach
ache you would've got if you'd eaten the food. =)

>7) Ghouls. A while back, I posted a bunch of questions
>about ghouls. One was never really answered, and maybe
>someone with T:UCAS could help me out. What happens
>with a ghoul PC and cyberware? What's the deal?

Okay. The basics of it are: You turn into a ghoul, all your bioware gets
absorbed into your body and you lose it, all your cyberware loses its
neural connections and becomes practically useless, and you suddenly
develop a weird fetish for licking people all over... nibbling them all
over... taking big hunks of meat off of their.... oops better stop now...

>8) Canada. Without looking at reference material, I.E.
>anything at all, who's the current leader of our country,
>and what's his title (don't cheat...this is a public awareness
>poll...and no, I haven't a clue who the Australian Prime
>Minister is)?

Where's Canada? =) I know the title just not his name...

>9) Dice. How many dice do you usually take to a gaming
>session? And do you take those multi-sided AD&D dice,
>even though you know you won't need them?

Dice, eh? Usually about 50-odd, though most of my players <looks sharply
at Blinky and Krayse> bring their own... Damn those AD&D dice... I don't
even play the game. They're some kind of Evil Bastard™ invention. They
egg by other dice into bad rolls, I just know it.

>And now, the tenth question on our poll...
>
>10) If you were covered in bugs, what kind of vegetable
>would you be?

That's easy. Gorilla Snot™.

"I'll tell you what - we'll fight fair, okay? Just stand over there for
a sec while I get ready... back a bit... to the left... left... left...
right on top of that big set of concentric circles.... yeah, that's
right... Now hold still....."
