It's called a Geek Code, and you did in fact make an ass out of yourself.
(Not me, though... only I do that)

Geek Codes are a little old hat here, but they are a thriving phenomeon on
the internet in general. And I would suggest that, for someone who has an
email address of "commander61", you should have a bit more respect for us
geeks.

(And I'd watch out with the "child" comments, too...)

And, to address Kyoto's points: put your replies at the bottom.
