/ But, before we do that, I think it's probably more productive if we banter
/ about it a bit more on the list, so people know what's probably going to
/ happen on the list, and so I can write the early version of the FAQ to post
/ when the new list goes up.

/ Anyways, since alot of the people who seemed interested in the new project
/ don't appear to be people who were on the old list (Which is AFAIK dead, I
/ can't connect to the server it was run on..), here's a real brief outline
/ of some of the stuff that was planned on being covered in the first guide:
/
/ 1. Timeline [TIME]
/ 2. Character Generation [CG]
/ 3. Rules Clarifications [RULES]
/ 4. Roleplaying Guideline [RP]
/ 5. Product Info [INFO]

I strongly suggest further subdividing the outline. One of the reasons
I wasn't able to complete the Roleplaying Guideline was the fact that
the subject is Huge. There's roleplaying in general, roleplaying in
shadowrun, where to get ideas, roleplaying typecasts (by race and/or by
character type), roleplaying for newbies, etc.

Or, maybe this would be a good topic of discussion to reserve for the
new list.

/ What else needs to be covered for newbies? I think a section on GM'ing
/ (Pacing a campaign, being fair, etc) is a must. Perhaps also a "Finding
/ other people that play Shadowrun" article.

6. Character Creation [CC]
6a Crunching the Numbers [CC-CtN]
6b the Mage [CC-tM]
6c the Rigger [CC-tR]
6d the Decker [CC-tD]
6e the Street Sam [CC-tSS]
etc.

/ I can see this is quickly turning from a net.book to a co-operative website
/ where some of the material is edventually archived into a net.book format,
/ but that's cool with me.

If you get contributions ;)

/ Any thoughts?
