I tend to use the highest Intelligence present as the chance of spotting
a weapon: otherwise, (a) the dice rolling gets too tedious, (b) it
becomes impossible to make _anything_ happen.

Absolutely, but then I'm thinking much more of day-to-day life.

Worth trying. Best bet of all, with a decent fake SIN, is a transport
permit for when you're not working.
