Properly tailored coat? Is there anything in a sourcebook about this,
or is it just a houserule? I know about the bonus to Longcoats, but I
hadn't seen anything about tailoring to conceal.

I'm reminded of the old detective drama that used to be on TV a while
back, Spencer: For Hire. For those of you who never watched that show,
there was a character by the name of Hawk, played by Avery Brooks, who
is a perfect example of how a upper-tier street samurai would act.

There was one episode where Hawk, and his detective buddy Spenser were
roughed up by some local organized crime goons. In the fight, Hawk's
designer suit-jacket is torn. Later in the show, Hawk confronts the
crime-boss responsible, and demands a $1,000 payment to replace the
jacket. The crime-boss tells Hawk that the suit isn't worth that much,
to which Hawk replies with something along the lines of "It's not just
the price of the threads. My jackets need to be tailored so they don't
show the buldge of heavy artillery." at which point Hawk flashes his
_huge_ magnum revolver. He ends up getting the money.
