Hi all,

Sorry for the late comment, but:

Imagine the problem with recording astral perception to be one
of getting the person to be able to experience the recording. If
astral perception can be recorded because the "astral perception"
areas of the brain can have their signals recorded, then a mage
may be able to experience the astral perception on a recording
because the mage's brain knows how to interpret those signals.
However, a mundane would not be able to astrally perceive because
its brain does not know how.

Since FASA indicates that recording the astral perception is
not possible, one must assume no one has yet figured out how
astral perception works in the brain, and therefore cannot record
it. This may be caused by many reasons, but the easiest to explain
may be that it works differently for each mage. This is similar
to people in real life who are brain damaged, but have other parts
of their brain take over functions normally handled by the damaged
areas. Each mage may develop astral perception in a different
manner (maybe linked to the way they do magic).
