Subject: [Semi-OT] Latin anyone?
Date: Mon, 22 Feb 1999 12:47:22 -0500 (EST)
My idea is based on the fact that the elf was taken to the Vatican for
"testing" when he first registered as magically active(which is when the
Indians first detonated the volcanos). I saw it as a "return to old ways
with new things emerging" type of deal. The elf in question is also old...
among the first elves born in 2011, so he is in his mid 50's now (altho he
still looks 20ish ;))

Anyone care to share what their views on Vatican policies are nowadays? ;)
I know there was thread about it a while back, and it was all very
helpful, but more can't hurt. :)

Also, he is a bug/blood/toxic spirit/mage hunter. A sort of Catholic
cleanup man. Hence the New Jesuit membership. He was forced to learn Latin
when he had to research in the Vatican library for magical stuff (which I
have said to be one of the most complete libraries on the occult in
existance. From what little I know, I believe that is true. Confirmation,
anyone?)

I've gotten quite a few responses of the priest not acting "priest" like,
so I was hoping for more info on how to RP a priest. :) I did a funeral
but it was more of off the top of my head, something that sounds about
right type of deal, LIke "Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, I return this body
back to the Kingdom of Heaven" type of deal. :)
