These is a movement (splinter group) of the Roman Catholic Church called the
Novus Ordal ("New Order"). They semi-split with said, RCC over their decision
for all Catholics to STOP using it. "Traditional Latin Mass" back in the 1960's
(Vatican 2?), IIRC.
I've heard from a Novus Ordal practitioner that they were (are?) excommunicated,
but I can't find the reference to confirm this.
ANYway, you could have gone to one of these.
