Yeah, well... I'm a rebel doncha know... \=)

The way I figure it, given the Power's description, the vampire can only
control the molecular cohesion of its own molecules. Clothes, equipment,
cyberware, and the like are not part of the Vampire's body and so remain
behind when it assumes its mist form. If you allow it to control anything
more, vampires become a little too tough. I mean, just picture a
HVAR-wielding Vampire in heavy mil-spec armour able to pop-up almost
anywhere at a moments notice and gun you down before you can realize where
he is....

I've got an article posted at
http://www.ozemail.com.au/~zzdeden/shadowrun/fiction/vamp1010.html that
shows my take on vampires - at least from a shadowrunner's perspective.

On a similar topic....

What I always wondered about Vampires was how the Enhanced Physical
Attributes power worked in relation to the Vampires adjusted Strength
(listed as "C+E" - where C is the former character's attribute and E is the
Vampire's Essence). Taken at face value, the Enhanced Physical Attributes
power adds the critter's Essence to all its physical attributes constantly.
This would effectively give the Vampire a B/Q/S of C+E/C+E/C+E+E. Meaning
that a typical character (with straight 3s for physical attributes) turned
into a Vampire with an Essence of 4 would have Body and Quickness ratings
of 7 and a Strength rating of 11.

You can however, argue the other way - that the "+E" part of the Strength
listing is the Enhanced Physical Attributes power added in, but in all
other critter listings, the relevant Attribute and the duration of the
power is listed with the power.

I suppose it all comes down to interpretation...
