The Croatians developed a 20mm rifle (a _big_ beast) designed to shoot
out the thermal imaging sights on Serbian tanks from ranges of a
kilometre or so. (It's _hard_ to move around when a tank with a thermal
imager is watching you: the tanks were dug in and being used as heavily-
armed and armoured observation posts). Worked reasonably well,
apparently.
