Try a 3025 timeline. I said that I'd be running forward a
thousnad years, literally. The Layran Commonwealth, Drac
Combine, ComStar, Wolf's Dragoons- the whole sha-bang is getting
modified if I do this.

From FASA? Easy- SR is a different story than BT.
From me? Magic users are worthless in space, but one they get
into a manasphere, they are ready to roll. (With some penalties
until they aclimate- spacelag.) I can see mechwarriors who are
mages, but spacecraft crewers being mages, not at all. Maybe if
they need cash really, really bad, but they would probably have an
"empty" feeling in thier brain.
