I ran a campaign with a Dark City theme in which the players were given
pre-generated character archetypes. They didn't know any of the stats or anything:
they were all amnesiac. The premise of the game was that they had accidentally had
their minds wiped clean by a similar experiment and woke up naked and amnesiac in
a parking lot. They got back flashes of memories and learned their skills as they
used them, and sometime during the run found out about the modified chipjacks in
their heads. Unfortunately, the game didn't work out too well, and I never
finished it.
