Well the Black Talons I know of were made by Winbchester/Olin corp, they were
available in many calibers, the marketing thing was the little "talons" tat
extended forward when (or rather if) the round expanded. Several doctors
organizations and "anti-gun" got a hold o the hype about them, and Winchester
pulled them off the market to avoid bad press. (So they were never banned)
