Common sense. For the most part, you only WANT an induction pad in one hand
(the one you use). Otherwise, there WILL be some people, myself included, who
make the one-handed samurai, with no replacement for the missing hand, who
then want an essence discount ont he less-than-full Smartlink implant. :-)
Besides, some of the novels with this sort of thing in it, that I have read
(including NON SR books, though I cannot remember the titles/authors for the
life of me), indicated that sort of arrangement. So it stands to reason, IMO.
On top of which, it'd make the surgery more invasive, to trace connections to
BOTH hands, and implant the pads in both palms. :-)
