Bleah ... The one redeeming quality about Kev's performance is

Well, A Scimitar, is on average shorter than a Katana and so should have
its concealability raised by, say, 1 point. The Scimitar weighs about 2
kgs, but since the BBB (incorrectly?) lists the weight as 1 kg for
broadsword and katana, let's call it 1 kg as well. And its damage is
slightly worse (for the attacker :) than a broadsward or katana, but only
slightly. The cost is the same as a broadsword.
What do you know ... this gives us stats identical to a ... *GASP* sword.
:)
Now, it been a while since I saw that movie and what Azeeze (are you sure
about that name?) may have been carrying is a Falchion (They are similar
except a Fachion is shorter and has a very broad blade.).
If it WAS a Falchion, I'd say:
Conceal Reach Damage Weight Availability Cost Street Index Legal
3 1 [STR+4]M 1 kg 4/48 hrs 750 1.5 4-B
The Weight is due to the listed weights of other SR weapons (Why is that
they reduce the weights of personal weapons but jack up the weights of
guns???). The Street Index and Availability are based on that IMO,
Falchions are rarer than normal swords. If you feel differently, feel
free to change the stats.
This is all based on the information from ICE's Rolemaster Standard
System. (which, btw, lists the production time from broadswords,
falchions, and scimitars as 3 days and a katana as 5 days.)
