Thanks, but I don't need to re-read the rules; I know exactly how
flechette ammo works. You're right, it sucks against armor, I know that.
What I'm saying, is not everyone and their sister walks around in an armor
jacket, contrary to what you might think. Well, at least in all the games
I've played in, armor wasn't quite so extensive as you say. Yes, most
shadowrunners had it, and many Lonestar did, but not everybody.
So, I stand by my original comment that the 12D is a bit too deadly. I
know the letter of the rulebooks says it is 12D, but I think the spirit was
meant as 9S for burst. And, we do have the (un)-canonical comments on this
list. So, like I said, play it any way you want in your game. But in
mine, it'll stay 9S burst.
