|I suppose I'm really putting my head in the noose on this one, but...
|
|What IS a kibo, anyway?
Back in the dark ages, when the internet was fast, clean, and relatively
spam free, there lived a being. This being had an amazing power, in that, no
matter what newsgroup his name was posted in, he would appear at the call of
his name.
Many people thought he was just some clever arse with a clever shell script
and a lot of time on his hands.
Others thought he was an emerging AI, and others looked on his as a god.
They formed the newsgroup alt.religion.kibology, in honour of this being.
(And yes, this is true, and the name Kibo has gone down in legend because of
it)
