I forgot who wrote this :)

My roomate just told me about something interesting. It seems that
the traffic lights in New Brunswick's capital (that's Canada) have a
little sensor on them. It "sees" the flashing lights of emergency
vehicles, and changesthe lights so they can get through. Apparently,
you can simulate this by flashing your high-beams repeatedly...
just what that fellow was looking for. Strange, eh?
