He means your News program.
I use TIN. Some people use PINE (which acts as both e-mail and news).
Some idiots use netscape or Internet explorer. (which are web browsers
first, and news/e-mail programs far, FAR crappier than a REAL one).
If you're using Linux/Unix, I recommend TIN.
If you're using Windross, a lot of people recommend Free Agent.
(Which, suprisingly, is free)
