I picked up a handful of ED books partly for that reason and afterwards
had some ideas for bringing the "missing" races into SR ... first make
the Sprites Windlings and create the Obsidianmen as a form of free earth
elemental akin to the Salamander, then make up something for the T'Skrang
(Awakened Komodo Dragon?).
However, main reason for picking the books was that the world intrigued
me ... I really like the ED setting. I particularly like the concept of
Naming. :)
