Just for the record, opening the Dragons file in Acrobat Exchange,
printing to PDF, and then using Distiller to turn it back into a PDF that
_can_ be edited works fine, except that the font is replaced by (in my
case) Helvetica. If you're doing this to edit the doc, I doubt that's a
major problem :)
