Sheesh the things I miss when I dont read the digest that often....

Anyway as an avid battletech lover I have attempted to convert stuff
between the two universes before as well. But on a much smaller scale
than the project mentioned in these postings....All I did was convert a
few of the more interesting weapons from the Mechwarrior RPG into
shadowrun term then throw in a story about a corporation called
Federated Arms.

You can find the work on my RPG site at

http://members.tripod.com/~hypergate/

or directly to the document

http://members.tripod.com/~hypergate/shadowstuff/fedarms.html

Anyways I thought I would shamelessly plug that and mention that IMHO
Clan pilots would be easily converted to Shadowrun...have them be a
genetic expression the got confused and stuff somewhere between dwarf
and elf...I know real genetics dont work that way but hey in a magical
universe just about anything is psosible....and uh could you send me the
work when your done?

"Duty? You fight for duty boy? Let me tell you of duty. Duty is holding
a realative's hand as they pass from this world to the next. Duty is
standing by your wife as the doctors tell you that you will be parents.
Duty is carrying on your family name even though you are the last of
your line. Duty is standing up for what is right. Duty is what fanatics
fight for. Duty...duty is an obligation of honor. You boy have no
honor..." - Admiral Vincent St, Flame, said to a young Lt. before the
