Actually the Big 8 didn't disappear, instead it changed into the Big
10. Fuchi split into three, Fuchi America became Novatech run by
Villiers, Fuchi Europe was absorbed by Shiawase, and Fuchi Asia became
part of Renraku. Dunklezahns will made Wuxing Inc a big enough player
to join the Big Boys Club and Cross Applied Technologies also had the
good fortune to become accepted in that same club (for reasons I
cannot recall at the moment).
