I see it as being more cliquish than community-building, in
the same way that certain other groups refer to non-group members as
"mundanes". It feels a little juvenile to me, and IMHO doesn't give
the best first impression for a list. Don't mind me though, this
doesn't seem to be a commonly held belief.

What, uh, no, not at all, what would make me give you that
impression, and what's that carp-shaped shadow looming overhead? :P I
just wish I had known that there was a digest mode for this list
during its stay at itribe. I couldn't figure out how to get it to go
digest at hearn so I didn't join.
