Hmm..now..where were these complaints at the deadlines last week??
If someone else wants to take over getting things organized..please
speak up..

Frankly..a lot of bashing of other folk's ideas has been going
on..not expounding upon..And not to mention there have been no
really new ideas presented in several days..lots of saying the same
thing about the same ideas by different people..this is not
productive..

In the end what good is deliberating to death an idea that only a few
are interested in going with? Let's find out what the whole is more
interested in..

It is my opinion that we should -narrow- the field a whole lot and
concentrate our efforts on ideas that are more accepted by the
greater number of folks..If we narrow the field and
concentrate our efforts on 3 or 4 ideas with artists creating artwork
for only those ideas then it will be a much more simple thing to
decide on the end product and we should end up with a better product
as well..
As a for instance..last year..someone decided on the theme of the 4
quotes..most of our efforts were concentrated on developing that
idea..

And let us not forget that our goal is to have the TShirts done and
sent to everyone in plenty of time for them to receive them by
GenCon99..That includes everyone who lives in distant lands..

So if someone else wants to coordinate all this Speak up..because
your voice has yet to be heard..I will gladly forward everything I
have so far..
And I am speaking to several local TShirt companies..But have not
heard back from them as of yet..So you will probably have to go into
negotiations on that end of things as well..

I know this may have come out sounding a bit grumpy..it truly is not
intended that way at all..Time is short even if it does not seem that
way..And each year we get better at getting things organized and
closer to making everyone happy with the end product..and when they
get it..I quite simply am striving toward that goal..
As as for who made me king..everyone that remained silent and didn't
say.."Hey..I want to take care of the vote.."
Nobody complained until it was the last day...

And now I am going to bed..Yell at me in my sleep..12 hour shifts and
mopping up flooded dayrooms takes it out of a person...
