Now, now, MC23. Your...dislike...of the Companion is well-known to me, but
do try to play nice. <g> How you run things at your end is entirely up to
you, but please don't slam those of us who look at things differently.

Incidentally, having something like Aristocracy, if such a thing existed,
would cost at chargen.

>What happens with world distribution has no effect on CharGen.

Says you. Perhaps I want to run my game differently than you. And,
unfortunately, FASA set the precedent up for themselves with the original
Companion (which I know you disdain), when they allowed oni to rearrange
priorities of playing a magical character. I kinda like it, personally, and
just wish I had better rule mechanics to implement it, because I think it
would have an effect on chargen.

Your mileage, of course, may vary.

>Higher propensity for magic is for NPC and background information, not
>for players to have a free ride.

Again, says you. One of your personality traits that bugs me a little is
that you always seem to claim a player is getting a "free ride" when
something doesn't appear to go exactly your way. I'm not sure why that
chaps my hide, but it does, so there you go.
