Subject:	Sr Novel : Crossroads (questions and some spoilers)

I just finished the novel and I liked it. The main character
is powerful but not ridiculously so. The plot wasn't over the top.
The free fire elemental gone bad was a refreshing change from
the "let's decide of the fate of the world" conspiracies.
And above all else, talon's magic was consistent with Sr rules.
The mage muttering and then the bad guys going 'poof' never
happens in my games.
But the novel left me puzzled on several points.
-Was this novel hidden from Mike Mulvihill? Because after
so much time spent trying to get rid of ED stuff, the 'Enemy
are stopped but worse things are on their way' conclusion
sure surprised me. What's the deal?
-Is it related to the year of the comet stuff?
-Mama is creepy but cool. Will we see more of her?
-There was something else that surprised me in
the conclusion, namely the discussion between Trouble and
Talon. Talon is single and says he's not interested. She asks
"Why is it all the good ones are either married or gay?".
Did Kenson actually out Talon? I didn't see that one coming.
Anyway, kudos to Stephen Kenson for a job well done.
It's nice to be back on the list.
