It does, in fact, say right in the bbb3 that you can transfer cred from one
stick to another directly. It also notes that you have to update the stick
with the bank for the transatcion to be finalized, though.

Still, this allegation of Wheelbarrows full of certified credsticks is bogus.
One stick can have an infinate balance, and therefore you would only need
one. This also does not take into account what others have noted, that there
are organised crime people and other deckers who specilaise in laundering
cred for you.

The other thing to remember is that certified credsticks are like bearer
bonds... whoever has possesion of the stick has the creds. If you were
working from one end, say a Johnson gone bad, you could trace the creds from
his account to the stick, and then maybe have a case that because you had the
creds from that certified account he gave it to you, but it would be to
flimsy to stand up in a court of law. and working back the other way,
tracing the creds back to their issuer, would be impossible.
