I'll give it a go. :) I would say that even though the arm isn't his that he could use
the weapon focus. However, I might engage this as a good roleplaying experience and have
it take him longer to bond, etc. The character should be aware of some sort of difficulty
impeding the bonding and may need to get another magician to help him out a bit in order
to overcome the obstacle. So, while he may end up spending some NY and perhaps a few
extra karma points, I would keep the "damage" minimal and create a good
roleplaying experience out of it.
