Look for his wallet, and anything else on him. Grab his PPilot, beeper or
cell phone (if he has one). Fast pat for weapons Only takes a few
seconds. Gettng clothes, now that is a pain.
BTW, use your knife at this point IN THE GAME (Nothing like finiding out
that the troll you thought had a stove in skull was just out of it for a
minute), but NOT in real life, unless you already have one hell of an alibi
and you owe him a lot of money. :)

Not everyone is on body detail- most are on lookout.

Or, wear gloves, even cheap cotton work ones, so long as they have fingers.

It never finishes the run with you. If it does, it goes in the nearest
river or (better yet) smelter, car crusher or arc fernice. But NEVER,
EVER, EVER under any circumstances should you actually touch it with your
bare skin.

Point of order, if someone drops dead, it is going to be at least an hour
before thier cards are canceled.

Like I said, don't be dumb about it. Only take things like jewlery if you
are trying to make it look like a street thing AND you have time. Stealing
things like a wedding ring is really low anyways.
You want to look for, in order: pulse (if detected, use knife or sound
suppressed pistol), passkeys, communications and IFF settings, and maybe
weapons if you have time.
