roommate, and after he got home from work, he'd work on his character
while I slept. He'd ask questions aloud (a variation on thinking
aloud) and low and behold, I'd answer him. In perfect quotation,
including page numbers, from any of the AD&D books that we had (all but
one at the time).

*lol* Jeez, that's a neat trick. You should've learnt the Constitution
by heart - then you could've been set up in some kind of freak show.
You would've made MILLIONS! :)

> The only reason I ever found out is because one of the other roommies
at the time came home, discovered what was happening, and attempting to
ask me a question about the Game we were having (I was GM). I snapped
awake, angry too, and didn't even know why. I had to convince Steve to
give me the answer to it all.

Scott's fault.

*Doc' nearly herniates himself laughing again.*

Btw, have you heard the theory that says everyone has a perfect memory.
It's just their recall that sucks. Can you do the same thing while
you're awake?

I've got a trick memory kinda like that. Although I'm not so good for
exact rules (as y'all would've noticed :) ), I remember RPG and novel
stuff really well - plus if I see a face in a movie, I can tell you,
usually instantly, what other shows I've seen that person in before.
And no, we're not just talking the Arnies and the Slys here. :)

Trick memories rule. :)

brings it up, and gets to have some fun for us all :-)

You're SO mean K!

I like it! :)

*Doc' simpers at K. "Oh, you turn me on, you big, mean thing!"*
