Origins is in Columbus, Ohio the first weekend of July (Around the 4th).

Gen Con is in Milwaukee, Wisconsin the second weekend in August usually
(Around the 10th).

Both are really good conventions, depending on why you are going. Gen Con
is good for meet and greets and for gaming. Origins is great to
participate in or to o to schmooze with the game companies.
