depending on what the thing actually is....
Is SOTA meant to be a change due to the item
itself getting old and shite, or because the things that
it's opposed to (bullets/armour etc.) are getting better....
If it's old age, I could see armour degrading etc. but not really
weapons getting worse - an old gun still fires new ammunition,
after all.
If SOTA is due to the latest things getting better (as its name
would seem to imply), then again, guns would seem to be
fairly unaffected.....whereas decks, armour etc.. don't think
so..... I suppose a gun's aim/gas compression etc. would go
off...but hmmm...
Oh, and are there difference rates of effectiveness timewise
under the SOTA rules for different things - I mean, taking RL
as an example, guns don't change much in 2 years, portable
computers do!
